RATES
Initial one-to-one physiotherapy assessment and treatment (45 min.) $135
- For first time patients to Empower Physiotherapy, regardless of therapist seen.
- For current patients requiring a regular follow up appointment.
- For returning patients not seen in more than a year, with a new injury, seeing a different physiotherapist and/or require a little more time with their physiotherapist.
- For returning patients who have multiple issues and/or require more time with their physiotherapist.
Payment for Services
All fees are private and paid at the time of your appointment. We will accept cash, cheque, debit, Visa and Mastercard. Please have payment ready prior to your session.
We are currently unable to provide services for WorkSafeBC claim related injuries. ICBC claimants will pay the regular private fee schedule and can submit their receipts for reimbursement through ICBC, if applicable. Please speak to your individual Claims Adjustor. Premium Assistance patients will also pay the regular private fee schedule and we will submit your application for reimbursement to be mailed directly to you.
Physiotherapy and custom splinting is covered by many extended health benefit plans. Please check your individual extended health benefit provider for specific coverage amounts.
We are proud to maintain a paperless office. Medical charts are all electronic with a secure and confidential software system. All receipts will be emailed to you unless you request a hard copy.

Cancellation and No Show Policy
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations and rescheduling, as your treatment time has been booked just for you, otherwise you will be charged the minimum treatment fee. However, we often have a waiting list. If we are able to rebook your full appointment time with another client, then we would be pleased to waive the cancellation fee. Thank you for your understanding.
