CONCUSSION REHABILITATION
A concussion is a subset of traumatic brain injury and is an "invisible injury". Most concussions resolve within 1-2 weeks, but some people may experience persistent symptoms. Rehabilitation and management may include addressing headaches, dizziness and balance, visual changes, tinnitus, cervical spine dysfunction, and recommendations for return to learn/play/work.
In some cases, a comprehensive initial assessment may aggravate symptoms of a concussion, so we recommend that you arrange to have someone drive you home following the initial session.
